Clara Woods | Inclusion Matters

Clara Woods is an artist and entrepreneur who has defied expectations since birth. After suffering a perinatal stroke, Clara was left unable to speak or write, but she found her voice in a different way—through art. Despite her challenges, Clara communicates the depths of her emotions, dreams, and thoughts through vibrant, expressive paintings that have captivated audiences around the world. Her journey is a testament to resilience, and she has shared her art in exhibitions across Italy, Brazil, and the U.S., including her landmark exhibition at Art Basel hosted by LVMH.

Clara's story isn't just about overcoming adversity; it's about using her platform to spark meaningful change. She is the heart of The Inclusion Matters Movement, a global initiative she founded alongside her family to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially for people with disabilities. Through her art and advocacy, Clara shows that inclusion isn't just a buzzword; it's a way of life that should be championed everywhere.

As part of her mission to inspire and empower others, Clara joined The Culture Shift Program as a testimonial and role model for students. The program, led by Jared Scott, is focused on giving students the tools to connect with themselves, work through their traumas and negative emotions, and foster a positive school culture. Through this process, students promote inclusion, build stronger community values, and unify teachers, school staff, families, and peers.

Clara’s involvement in The Culture Shift Program allows her to share her personal journey and inspire students to overcome their own challenges. Whenever possible, Clara visits schools to interact directly with students, creating a special bond that strengthens their understanding of inclusion and resilience. Her presence helps students feel empowered to embrace positivity, support one another, and build a unified community where every individual is valued.

Through her role in The Culture Shift Program, Clara is helping to grow the Inclusion Matters Movement within schools, promoting a culture of inclusion, positivity, and community that will shape a brighter future for all.
